Oppo Find N2 Flip review

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, the foldable form factor emerged as the major trend for 2023, with Samsung being the dominant player in this space in terms of both volume and perception. It’s no surprise that Samsung is the name that comes up when reviewers are asked which foldable device to buy.

However, the Oppo Find N2 Flip follows the same formula as Samsung and even implements similar software features. Nevertheless, it distinguishes itself with a larger outer display, higher resolution cameras, a larger battery, and quicker charging. The question remains: are these features enough to make it a worthy rival to Samsung’s established position? Let’s take a closer look.

When the screen is off, nearly half of the front cover’s surface area is taken up by a black rectangle. Although it’s not a subtle design, it’s more functional than aesthetic. From the sides, the Oppo Find N2 Flip bears a striking resemblance to the Galaxy Z Flip, especially in the purple unit that we’re reviewing. The device features light purple (or lilac) glass on the front and back, with polished purple aluminum edges surrounding the sides.

One of the key differences between the Oppo Find N2 Flip and the Samsung Z Flip4 is the size of the outer screen. While the Samsung device boasts a 1.94-inch display, Oppo’s device features a 3.26-inch outer screen. The Find N2 Flip also packs a 4300 mAh battery, compared to its rival’s 3700 mAh battery, and comes with 44W fast charging. Oppo even includes an 80W charger in the box.
