Metal Gear Solid 3 Remake

After numerous rumors circulating for months, and possibly even years, the long-awaited announcement of the Metal Gear Solid 3 remake has finally arrived. The official title given to this remake is Metal Gear Solid Delta.

While we still await an official confirmation from Konami, let us assume that the unveiling of the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake will indeed take place at the PlayStation Showcase. In light of this, it is only natural to question the decision, to begin with the adventure featuring Naked Snake instead of the original Metal Gear Solid. It’s worth noting that there have been past discussions about remaking the original after The Twin Snakes’ release on the GameCube.

The choice to name the remake Metal Gear Solid Delta stems from a desire to evoke a sense of return and a commitment to remaining faithful to the franchise’s origins, as previously explained by Konami.

Another crucial aspect to consider is the question of popularity. When explaining the decision to start with the Silent Hill 2 remake instead of the original, Konami referenced not only the fact that the second title encapsulated the essence of the horror series but also its greater popularity compared to other installments within the brand.

Please note that while an official confirmation is pending from Konami, the prospects of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake have generated significant anticipation among fans.
